In the name of Allah, Most merciful, The One and Only, He begot none' nor was He begotten.
Before I proceed, I would like to thank everyone who were determined and professional in co-operating with us, the Muslim, involving the welfare of us Malaysian. Thank you. How beautiful it is to see all Malaysians, from all races, backgrounds and religions, joint together in advocating the fate of us Malaysians. It is almost impossible to imagine this happening 20 years ago.
But, professionally, under different circumstances, the point that bring us together, which is the welfare of Malaysians, the right of citizens and the transpiracy of current government, we still have the right to strive for our survival as guaranteed by the Malaysian Constitutions. Like you, your principles and your voices are still heard within the Constitutions, although, in many cases, many of it were against our principles.
Hence, what I am trying to convey is that, no matter how divided our perceptions and views on certain issues, we should not act immature or threaten the stability of Barisan Rakyat.
How else are we going to show to the Rakyat about check and balance, about open debate, about guarantee that all ideas will be given right to be presented, and many more, if our acts defy what we promised before?
If the MCA proposed their idea or their principles, UMNO will backfire by threatening the stability of Barisan Nasional. If DAP/PKR did the same when PAS proposed their ideas to them, what are the odds that the stabilty of Barisan Rakyat is not jeaopardized? Childish is it not? Is this not against what you are all struggling for?
What should have been done is that, the idea, the priciples that lies within the ideas, are given the right to be presented and discussed, in line with the notion of freedom of proposing, debating, analyzing or even opposing. This is what professionalism is all about. What is more important is that, these are all done within the boundary of the Constitution. Argument should be met with an honest argument. An idea should be opposed with a clarification of the why's. Not be met by decumbency, emotional distress or even threats and blackmails.
PAS does not come from Afghanistan.
Pas in not a subsidiary from Afghanistan. Pas is governing the state of Kelantan. Pas in not going to eliminate concerts or entertainments or alcohols. But they want to arrange, compile and draw a new legislations regarding the items mentioned before. All these has been done with success in Kelantan. However, in the state won by Barisan Rakyat, PAS can only do so much by proposing the same idea on the new legislatives, same like other parties component in Barisan Rakyat. The final say lies in the hand of Barisan Rakyat.
Once again, PAS does not want to eliminate all that, but they want another look at those and rearrange the law regarding entertainments and alcohol beverages. These two items are what destroying our society especially the youngster, the most valuable assets in any given states or country in the future if we continue to apply policies left behind by the Barisan Nasional. Recycling their outdated policies.
Nonetheless, once again, the final say on the proposed ideas are in the hands of the respective states. PAS is only doing their duty, the state govenrment who uphold their responsibilities towards the Rakyat, like us who have our own obligations. Hence, there is no questions of jerking the stability of Barisan Rakyat. Don't be immature, do not act against what you are voicing. Be professional. Moves and slides within the limits of the Constitution.
Pas is not the equivalent of Hadi Awang.
As a writer but not a registered member of PAS, whom are the target of this article, we are against Haji Hadi Awang in many issues, under several circumstances, which are wholly on personal level. For me, Haji Hadi Awang are way too slow in his response in many issues to be the leader of such an important organisation in the current challenging situations. The Malay PAS voters has voted the wrong man for the wrong post.
Having said that, it is imperative that you, the target readers, understood that all the actions of PAS leaders, PAS President or just the parking attendant during any PAS lectures, can still be called upon for judgement, questioned and be stop by the PAS scholars in their 'majlis syura' (a consultative decision making tools in PAS). this is the advantage and the strength of PAS
So I hope, to the target readers, not to see PAS as another Taliban and not to judge PAS by the sayings and actions of Hadi Awang. We need to be professional on this. PAS is a political organisation that is registered, just like other parties. PAS has the rights to voice their opinions, giving ideas and working within the legitimate scopes just like all of you.
However, professionally, we need to maintain the stability of Barisan Rakyat just like before, and we need to carry our responsilities based on our own distinct idealogy. It cannot be stop, cannot be threatened. You and I do our own job, PAS carry on like they did before, we debate on certain issues just like old times, however, blackmailing, decumbency, emotional disturbance, racial discrimination, should be avoided.
Let us all work to create better Malaysia with our selections of ideas and healthy debates and arguments. I request for a deep thoughts from our thoughtful readers.
Allah knows better.
